Dr. Halina Stec is the founder of Vitae Healthcare Center in Stamford, Connecticut. A graduate of the Lublin Medical Academy in Poland, she is board certified in ophthalmology and completed residencies in Family Practice and Anesthesiology in the United States. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Stec combines traditional medicine with modern functional approaches to help patients achieve long-term wellness.
Journey to Functional Medicine
Dr. Stec’s interest in functional medicine began over a decade ago, inspired by her own experience with chronic fatigue and health challenges that traditional medicine didn’t fully address. She pursued advanced training through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and the Institute for Functional Medicine, integrating evidence-based functional and biomedical treatments into her practice.
